F.A.Q. for Woman And Machine Classes, Workshops, and Events

Classes/Workshops FAQs

What is the refund policy if I can not make it to class?

Please check out our Refunds/Cancelation Policies page for more information about this. This is specifically for classes/workshops only, our events have different refund policies.

Are there age requirements for classes/workshops?

The age requirements can vary depending on which class/workshop you are looking to attend.

Welding/metal art classes are restricted to teens at least 16 years old and deemed mature enough to work with the equipment. Please contact Woman And Machine before you sign up a minor for a class. Email us at info@womanandmachine.org.

Automotive classes are restricted to teens at least 16 years old and deemed mature enough to work with the equipment. Please contact Woman And Machine before you sign up a minor for a class. Email us at info@womanandmachine.org.

What can/can’t I bring to class?

Bring everything you need to be comfortable learning! Certain classes may have some requirements so be mindful of that. Class descriptions are on the Store webpage with any requirements for attendees listed there.

Any questions, feel free to email us at info@womanandmachine.org

Are men allowed to attend classes?

Yes of course! However, be aware that some classes will be for ladies only. They will be designated as such.

This isn’t because we hate guys, men have been an integral part of getting some of the teachers who teach for Woman And Machine into automotive or other trades (i.e. welding). The ladies only classes are to give women a space where they can try something new without men around where they may not be comfortable otherwise.

Events FAQs

Is my event registration/ticket refundable or transferable?

We are not able to refund event tickets, we have to pay for you to attend the event whether you do or don’t. You, the buyer, can transfer the ticket up until sales close for the events. Woman And Machine is not responsible for transferring your ticket. The name on the ticket must match the new registrant so please check with them to ensure they received the ticket after you transfer it.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

Teens and younger children are welcome to attend our events however all those younger than 18 years old must attend with a parent/guardian. Also, there is absolutely no pets! If you have a service dog, please contact us at info@womanandmachine.org

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

Sorry, the name on the ticket MUST match the person attending. You can buy a ticket for a friend but make sure the ticket is in their name and use their email (not yours) when doing so. However, if you bought a ticket for a friend under your name and not theirs, they can still get in, but you’d need to arrive together and check-in to the event together.

What is the refund policy?

100% NO REFUNDS for event tickets

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

We will have you on our guest list, however if you feel better about printing it, you can.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

Bring everything you need to be comfortable learning! Certain classes may have some requirements so be mindful of that. Class descriptions are on the event’s website page with any requirements for attendees listed there.

Please do not bring people who did not buy a ticket, animals or weapons of any kind.
