F.A.Q. for Woman And Machine Events

Is my registration/ticket refundable or TRANSFERABLE?

We are not able to refund any tickets, we have to pay for you to attend whether you do or don’t. You, the buyer, can transfer the ticket up until sales close for the events. Woman And Machine is not responsible for transferring your ticket. The name on the ticket must match the new registrant so please check with them to ensure they received the ticket after you transfer it.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

Young ladies are welcome to attend however all those younger than 18 years old must attend with a parent/guardian. Also, there is absolutely no pets! If you have a service dog, please contact us at womanandmachine@gmail.com

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

Sorry, the name on the ticket MUST match the person attending. You can buy a ticket for a friend but make sure the ticket is in their name and use their email (not yours) when doing so. HOWEVER, if you bought a ticket for a friend under your name and not theirs, they can still get in, but you’d need to arrive together.

I saw a guy(s) at Woman And Machine Why?

The guys you may see during the event are there working and helping us. They're helping us load and unload equipment, set-up, breakdown, making sure all the instructors have everything they need when we're all preoccupied with our own classes/workshops. They will make themselves known as little as possible.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

We will have you on our guest list, however if you feel better about printing it, you can.

Can I take photos, video, do social media takeovers for a magazine, brand, blog etc?

That is great and we’d love to hear more! However, Woman And Machine is a private event and we do the best we can not to distract our guests. If you want to shoot the event in any way for a media source, a brand or other non-personal use, please email womanandmachine@gmail.com for permission as no commercial photography, video, or voice recording of any kind is allowed unless approved by us.

No need to ask if it’s for yourself and/or personal social media.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

Bring everything you need to be comfortable learning! Certain classes may have some requirements so be mindful of that. Class descriptions are on the event’s website page with any requirements for attendees listed there.

Please do not bring people who did not buy a ticket, husbands, boyfriends (sorry guys, ladies only for attending and participating in the classes/workshops), animals, weapons of any kind.

What is the refund policy?
