To give our participants the most amount of ‘rod time’, we can accept a maximum of 4 students. This is a Co-Ed Program so both ladies and gentlemen are welcome to attend!

Intro to Metal Art - 3/19/2022 - 3/20/2022 - Plympton, MA

This is an introduction to metal art weekend class hosted in Plympton, MA

March 19 - 20, 2022

Day 1: March 19 - 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. (1 hour lunch break)

Day 2: March 20 - 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. (1 hour lunch break)

Cost: $450, includes materials and PPE

This is an introduction to metal art course that leads you through how to make metal art on your own. Participants will be exposed to numerous metal working tools and work in-depth with them to get comfortable enough to make their own piece of art on Day 2.

I will be able to take 6 students, with a minimum of 3 necessary to run the class. I will be in contact to let you know if the class will be able to run 24 hours prior. An option will be given to move to another art class scheduled later in the year or a refund can be issued.

Metal Posy Bouquet: How to Create Metal Flowers - 2/5/2022- Plympton, MA

This class is a metal art class located in Plympton, Massachusetts:

Saturday, February 5th from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m./3 p.m.

*Cost: $150 or $175, includes materials and PPE

*cost difference is based on whether you would like to make 3 flowers ($150) or a rose and 2 additional flowers ($175). Making the rose is time intensive and a little more involved in making than some of the other flower options which is the cost difference. You may also be at the workshop for an additional hour if you decide to make a rose

Metal Reindeer - 12/20/2021 - Plympton, MA

Woman And Machine is holding an ‘Intro to MIG Welding' welding class on Sunday, August 29, 2021 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Karen Sullivan’s home shop in Plympton with guest instructor Julie Hemingway of TradeBabes.

To give our participants the most amount of rod time, we can accept a maximum of 8 students. This is a LADIES ONLY class so we are accepting women only. Guys keep an eye out for our other Intro Classes!

This is a longer class than some of the other metal art pieces that are done at Woman And Machine. This class will be more in-depth where the piece is more complex and the class is set for 5 hours with a 1 hour break.

Come and make a heron planter, it stands 2’ tall and the bowl piece measures 6” around.

I will be able to take 4 students, with a minimum of 2 necessary to run the class. I will be in contact to let you know if the class will be able to run 24 hours prior. An option will be given to move to another art class scheduled later in the year or a refund can be issued.
